The Expanded Aspiration In HIV launched at CAHR 2018

April 2018: an expanded view of HIV care was presented to attendees at the Canadian Association of HIV Research (CAHR).

In the past, the HIV conversation primarily focused on the disease and viral suppression. Today, however, the focus is on the whole person, which still incorporates viral suppression but with a longer-term view to lifelong good health. The aim of this approach is to ensure that people living with HIV (PLHIV) achieve a health status that is at least as good as the general population. This new vision is being coined ‘The Full 360.’
